This fall, the vibrant city of Puerto Vallarta welcomes the official launch of Wanderlust Chronicles: Transformative Travel Tales, a literary and cultural celebration of women who travel and inspire. This groundbreaking anthology shares powerful stories of courage, discovery, and personal growth—told by women who dared to step beyond borders and face their fears.

Audiences in Puerto Vallarta, and around the world, are invited to tune in to ASPHALT, Vallarta’s all-English radio show, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for a live interview with:

Teena Clipston — publisher at Clipston Publishing, home of the Wanderlust Chronicles series, and contributing author in Transformative Travel Tales. She is also the bestselling co-author of Healing Mind, Body, & Soul.
Rusti L Lehay — a long-time creative writing instructor and heart-centred coach who guides writers to find their true voice on the page. Writing coach and co-author of Wanderlust Chronicles, she believes every lived moment holds a story and that the pen is mightier than the therapist.
Lisa Taylor — founder of Glowing Confidence, a brand empowering women through travel, wellness, and personal growth. Co-author of Wanderlust Chronicles, she is passionate about helping others rediscover joy and alignment. Her chapter shares how a solo trip to Bali sparked deep healing and a renewed sense of purpose.

Hosted by Jessy Ruiz, creator of ASPHALT and a passionate advocate for community voices, the program will give listeners a first glimpse inside the anthology and highlight the exciting lineup of book launch events happening across Puerto Vallarta.

The Women Who Travel Networking Event was created to bring women together—travelers, expats, locals, and women working in the tourism industry. Its goal is to foster connection, share opportunities, and build a supportive community committed to creating safe and welcoming travel experiences for women, making it a perfect way to celebrate the launch of Wanderlust Chronicles.

The evening will feature dinner and drinks à la carte, inspiring guest speakers sharing travel stories and industry insights, and will close with music.

The networking event was founded by Teena Clipston of Clipston Publishing and co-hosted with Wanderlust Chronicles Marketing Director Barbara La Pointe, a well-known media personality and luxury real estate leader in Puerto Vallarta. She is the founder of Barbara La Pointe Real Estate and an AMPI-certified advisor with Puerto Vallarta Sotheby’s International Realty.
