Sometimes the road changes us long before we realize we needed to change.

A journey can begin as an escape, an adventure, a retreat, or simply a change of scenery. But somewhere along the way, something shifts. We find clarity. We heal. We rediscover a part of ourselves we thought we had lost. We make a decision that changes the direction of our lives.

Wanderlust Chronicles is now accepting submissions for our upcoming anthology, Roads to Renewal.

We are looking for women with powerful personal stories about travel, transformation, healing, and beginning again.

What Does “Renewal” Mean?

Your story doesn't have to be about climbing a Himalayan mountain or disappearing into the wilderness for six months.

Renewal can happen anywhere.

Perhaps you travelled after a divorce, loss, illness, career change, or major life transition. Maybe you attended a retreat that shifted your perspective, walked a pilgrimage route, travelled alone for the first time, returned to a place from your past, or simply stepped outside your familiar world and discovered something unexpected about yourself.

Roads to Renewal is about those journeys. The outer journey. The inner journey. And the moment the two meet.

We are particularly interested in stories involving:

• Transformative travel and life-changing journeys

• Retreats, pilgrimages and spiritual experiences

• Healing and recovery

• Reinvention and starting over

• Solo travel and personal discovery

• Nature, wilderness and finding perspective

• Leaving behind an old life or identity

• Courage, resilience and unexpected turning points

• The people and places that changed the direction of your life

You Don't Have to Be a Professional Writer

You need a story.

One of the purposes of Wanderlust Chronicles is to give women the opportunity to become published authors while developing their writing along the way.

Selected contributors work with the Clipston Publishing editorial team to shape, strengthen and professionally prepare their stories for publication. You'll receive guidance throughout the process and become part of an international community of women sharing extraordinary experiences from around the world.
