Kapital Bank Presents Wanderlust Puerto Vallarta 2026: A Literary & Community Gala Benefiting Vallarta School for Girls

PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO – July 1, 2026 – Readers, writers, travellers, and community members are invited to gather for an unforgettable evening of stories, music, and giving back at Wanderlust Puerto Vallarta 2026, a Literary & Community Gala taking place at Oscar's Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta.

Presented by Kapital Bank, the event brings together local and international authors, readers, expats, business leaders, and visitors for an inspiring waterfront celebration along the Cuale River, just steps from the Malecón.

Guests will enjoy live music by the acclaimed Fer Ruvel Trio, comedy with Valerie Branch, and presentations from featured authors and speakers, including María Velázquez Ammerman, Vincent Traughber Meis, Ilana Long, Michèle Favarger, and Pluma Azul writers Jodi Bradbury and Seth Davenport. The program will be hosted by Guest Host Jessy Ruiz of Asphalt Radio and CPS Media.

The evening will also showcase books and literary works from The Living Room Bookstore & Café, La Bib, Clipston Publishing, and participating local authors, offering guests opportunities to discover new books, meet writers, and have books signed throughout the event.

The gala marks the official launch celebration of Expats: Living the Dream, the newest anthology in the Wanderlust Chronicles series. The collection features stories of adventure, reinvention, and building a new life abroad from authors who have embraced the expat journey and now call places around the world home.

Attendees may choose between the VIP Dinner Experience and General Admission. The VIP Dinner Experience includes reserved seating, a three-course dinner at Oscar's Restaurant, two glasses of wine, and a choice of steak, chicken, fish, or vegetarian entrée. General Admission includes access to the live music, speaker presentations, author activities, and community celebrations.

Giving back is an important part of Wanderlust Puerto Vallarta 2026. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit Vallarta School for Girls. Guests are also encouraged to bring a children's book donation, bid on silent auction items, and support literacy and education initiatives in the community.
