Author James Hees Featured on CBC Radio

Clipston Publishing author and former CBC journalist James Hees recently returned to familiar territory, joining Tara McCarthy on CBC Radio’s Edmonton AM to talk about his new memoir, Born to be Mild.

The interview, “Former reporter James Hees looks back at his life with self-deprecating humour in his new book Born to be Mild,” gives listeners an introduction to the man behind a memoir built around a lifetime of unexpected turns, memorable characters and stories that often become funnier with distance.

Before becoming an author, James built a career in Canadian broadcasting. His work as a CBC journalist received national and international acclaim, and he wrote and performed award-winning stories for CBC Radio. He was also nominated for an Alberta Film and Television Award for a CBC Television feature.

Now, in Born to be Mild, James becomes the subject.
