A Successful Afternoon for James Hees at Audreys Books
Congratulations to James Hees on a successful afternoon at Audreys Books in Edmonton (October 4, 2026), where around 30 guests came out to hear him read from his memoir, Born to be Mild, meet him in person, and have copies signed.
Born to be Mild is a darkly humorous memoir filled with sharp wit, unforgettable characters, near misses, and unexpected turns. Drawing on a life that often placed him uncomfortably close to danger, James looks back on the experiences that shaped him with humour, perspective, and his distinctly self-deprecating voice.
